How to set up offline UPI payments?
On your smartphone or feature phone, enter *99#. However, you must use the same phone number that has been connected to your bank account in order for this feature to work. Then, select your preferred language and enter your bank’s name. You will be presented with a selection of bank accounts associated with your phone number; select the one you wish to use by selecting the appropriate option. Enter the last six digits of your debit card, as well as the expiration date. After successfully configuring it, you can make UPI payments without internet access. How to pay offline using UPI?
To send money, dial *99# on your phone and enter 1. Select your preferred choice and enter the UPI ID/phone number/bank account number of the individual to whom you wish to send money. Then enter the money as well as your UPI PIN. Your payment will be processed successfully, and the transaction charge will be a maximum of Rs. 0.50 per transaction for using the *99# service. Note: The current transaction limit for this service is Rs. 5,000.
